Sarah Horine serves as Senior Director of Statistics, Statistical Programming, and Data Management where she is responsible for the biostatistics and data management aspects of clinical development programs.

Prior to joining Emalex, Ms. Horine led biostatistics and oversaw programming and data management at Cortexyme Inc., Dermira Inc. and BlackThorn Therapeutics, Inc. She began her career at Alza Corporation and Jazz Pharmaceuticals Inc., where she held several positions of increasing responsibility. Ms. Horine has worked on a variety of indications, with an emphasis on neurology and psychiatry. She has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Ms. Horine has a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology, with a concentration on Biostatistics and Epidemiology, and a master’s degree in Statistics from Stanford University.
